  By Ridwan Olanrewaju The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has announced a compulsory profile update exercise for all students of the institution, starting on Monday, June 24, 2024.  This was made known through a memo released by the Polytechnic's Directorate of Information and Communication Technology on Wednesday, from the director of ICT to all students. According to the memo, the exercise is aimed at ensuring accurate and up-to-date student information which is essential for providing effective support and guidance throughout their academic journey. 1718964377323 Memo from ICT, OSPOLY Moreover, students are required to come with their functioning email addresses to designated venues, which include ICT1, ICT2, and Koko Campus, for daily part-time students.

Oluwo Commends Iwo-Born Guinness World Record Breaker, Samson

 The Oluwo of Iwoland, Ọba (Dr) AbdulRosheed Adéwálé Akanbi, has recently received Iwo-Born Guinness World Record Breaker, Samson in his palace. He praised Ajao's commitment, effort and presented him with a copy of his book, "Code of Kings", as a token of appreciation and encouragement.   This was revealed on Iwo Facebook platform known as 'Iwoland Hub'. Ajao received the royal gift during his visit to the monarch at his palace. During the visit, Oluwo commended Ajao for his dedication toward promoting good reading culture among Nigerian youth. Ajao, who hails from Lao's Compound in Iwo, Osun State attempted Guinness World Record longest Marathon reading aloud, by reading for approximately 215 hours, in 10 days, covering around 100 books. This feat surpassed the previous record held by Rybai Isakov, who had set a record of 124 hours of continuous reading aloud.
